  • Weaving type: Double crimped, intermediate crimped, flat top crimped, lock crimped.
  1. Double crimped is also called plain weave. It is woven directly by straight wire, evenly crimped in warp and weft, providing a rigid construction.
  2. Single intermediate crimped is the weaving method, which the weft wire is crimped before weaving and the warp wire is woven directly.
  3. Double intermediate crimped is the weaving method, which both the warp and weft wire is crimped before weaving.
  4. Lock crimped mesh is a method, which can lock the wire at their own positions through pressed at each side of the raised wire.
  5. Flat top crimped, also called pressed crimped, is made from round and profiled plain weave wire. All the mesh knuckles is being on the underside. The structure is very heavy and durable.
  • Edge preparation: Plain, bent, reinforced shroud, welded shroud, bolt shroud.
    • Plain Edge : It is simple but it can not provide too much tensile strength for the screen.
    • Hook /Bent edge:Bent edge means woven mesh without reinforcing, Typically provided on screens of 5/16" and larger wire diameters.
    • Reinforced shroud edge:fold an metal sheet to the bent edge to eliminates screen pull-out on screens woven of both large and small wire diameters and supply an extra protection for the edge.
    • Welded shroud edge:fix the edge to the metal sheet through welding. This edge is firm and hard to separating no matter how strong the material vibration
    • Bolt shroud edge:fix the screen mesh to the metal sheet edge through bolt, supply the extra strength for the shroud edge and eliminate the possibility of the breakaway.
  • Hook type: C or U hook for 30° - 180
  • Packing shape : in sheet or roll by iron strip , iron pallet or bulk .
  • Hole shape: Square, rectangular slot, long slot.
  • Surface treatment: Anti rust oil painted or color painted as request

  • Apreture or open area :This is the most important factor in obtaining maximum output. The larger the open area the less screen is wasted and the faster the speed of screening. This open area factor must balanced against the wire diameter to give adequate life
  • Mesh :The mesh refers to the number of openings per inch. The mesh is counted by starting from the centre of one wire and counting the number of opening to a point one inch away.
